Lexington Woods Awarded Funding

We're proud to announce that Lexington Woods has been awarded funding through the Massachusetts Executive Office of Housing and Livable Communities' (EOHLC)! Our project was one of only 29 developments selected across 20 communities statewide through a highly competitive Commonwealth of Massachusetts affordable housing program.

Governor Maura Healey announced the awards on September 3, 2026, as part of $278 million in combined state and federal financing and tax credits directed toward affordable housing development across Massachusetts. This was the largest single round of awards from this program in more than a decade.

This award will allow us to advance our project and bring 40 new family homes to the Lexington community. We believe our Lexington Woods project was selected because we had a thoughtful architectural design that fit the character of the neighborhood, and a strong commitment to sustainability, which reflects the state’s push for energy-efficient, climate-resilient housing. We were also in alignment with the state’s affordability priorities, as our project is 100% Affordable with a unit mix of 14 one-bedrooms (35%), 18 two-bedrooms (45%), and 18 three-bedrooms (20%).
